In 1984, brothers Peter and Graham Holmes build the first HMC 3.5 litre Sports, the car is still used by Peter, now with over 100,000 miles on the clock and still looking like new.

Peter and Graham, both engineers with restoration and aeronautical backgrounds, met Geoffrey Healey in 1985. He was delighted with their reproduction cars and was ready to collaborate with them - unfortunately though he died before final production could commence.

The German market was opened up in the late 1980's and they took all of the annual production until 1995, when it was decided to build an extra 30 cars per year in right hand drive form for the United Kingdom. With their staff of 28 in Stroud, cars are produced to an extremely high 'hand built bespoke' standard and every vehicle is constantly subjected to the Holmes' fastidious inspections before going on to delight their customers around Europe. The HMC cars have enjoyed unequalled complimentary press coverage, including television in 1996, and the product is going from strength to strength with a well earned reputation.

In 1967 John S Leek bought the All Electric Garage, a Morris dealership in Birmingham. Today the group has fifteen outlets, which includes Body Shops and are distributors for Rover (x2), Peugeot, Daihatsu, Volvo, Chrysler Jeep, (VW) Skoda, Suzuki, Nissan, Mazda (x2), MG and of course HMC Sportscars!

All Electric is one of the Midlands' largest privately owned motor groups and employs over 220 people. It is still run actively by John Leek and his very supportive team of people. Being a car enthusiast, John met Peter back in 1988 and the two have kept in touch constantly. It was logical therefore, when production started for the UK, that All Electric Group should take on the UK distributorship, which is run from one of their main Rover Dealerships in Birmingham.

John Leek is personally dealing with the sales of all the HMC range of cars and hand picked 'All Electric' staff have worked at HMC's factory to understand and appreciate the mechanics and philosophy of this fantastic product.
